जैसा कि मैंने कुछ दिन पहले फेसबुक पर ऊपर लिखे विषय के बारे में लिखने के लिए कहा था। मैं अपनी पूरी ईमानदारी से इस विषय को कवर करने की कोशिश करूँगा। मैं ये विषय लिखने से पहले एक चीज़ स्पष्ट कर देना चाहूँगा कि इस पूरे कड़ी का एक दोषी मैं भी हूँ।
१. कुशल नेतृत्व की कमी
इसमें कोई दो राय नहीं है कि हमारे मोकामा में एक कुशल नेतृत्व की हमेशा से कमी रही है।(कम से कम जबसे मैंने होश संभाला है). मैंने कम से कम ऐसे एक भी नेता को नहीं देखा जो की मोकामा के समस्याओं को लेकर जागरूक हो। ऐसा नहीं है कि हमारे यहाँ से अच्छे नेता नहीं हुए है पर मैंने कभी मोकामा की समस्याओं को लेकर आगे बढ़ते नहीं देखा। आज मोकामा में भारत वैगन, सुता मिल, नाजरथ बंद हैं या होने के कगार पर हैं पर मैंने कभी इन समस्याओं को लेकर किसी भी नेता को गंभीर नहीं देखा।
२. स्थानीय नेता की कमी
ये भी एक अजीब इत्तिफ़ाक है की करीब १ लाख की आबादी वाले इस कस्बे का नेता मोकामा का नहीं होता। कहीं न कहीं ये कमी दूर होने से ऊपर वाली कमी दूर हो सकती है. ऐसा मेरे मानना है।
३. एक दुसरे से अंतर्कलह
शायद ये चीज़ हरेक समाज में मौजूद है पर हमें इस चीज़ पर काबू पाना होगा। मैंने खुद ये देखा की जो लोग हमारे सामने हमारे हितैषी बनने का ढोंग रचते हैं, हमारे पीछे हमारी ही हवा निकालने में कोई कसर नहीं छोड़ते हैं।
इसके अलावा भी कई और कमी हो सकती है पर मेरे ख्याल से ये कुछ मुख्य कमियां हैं। ऊपर लिखे हुए कमी के बावजूद आज मोकामा काफी तरक्की की राह पर अग्रसर है, मुझे इस बात पर गर्व है।

As I had told you earlier that I will try to cover the topic
with full honesty. So, I am back with “Mokama and its weakness”. Before writing
this subject I would like to clarify one thing that I'm also guilty of this
entire episode.
1. Lack of skilled leadership
We can’t deny the fact that there is a lack of skilled
leadership in our Mokama. (When I started realizing). I have not seen a single
leader who is aware of the problems of Mokama.
It’s not like that Mokama has not seen good leaders but they were not at
all serious about problems in Mokama. Result is that some of the premier
factories of India
like Bharat Wagon, National Textile Mill, Nazareth etc are either closed down
or are on the verge of closing. But they have never been serious about this.
2. Lack of local leaders
Sometime I amaze when I see that the leader of Mokama is a
person who do not belong to our town. Out of 1 lakh population, there’s not a
single from Mokama.
3. Dissension from each other
Maybe this thing exists in every society, but we will
overcome this thing. I myself saw these people who pretend to be our friend but
leave no stone unturned to harm us behind us.
Despite the above mentioned problems we are moving ahead and
I am proud of it.
